I have the honour to submit for the

signification of His Majesty's pleasure Ordinance No.16 of

1926 intituled "An Ordinance to apply a sum not exceeding

seventeen million seven hundred and forty one thousand five hundred and forty three dollars to the Public Service of the year 1927" together with the Attorney General's report upon it, and in this connection I invite reference to my despatch No.430 of October 19th last with which I enclosed advance copies of my own speech and that of the Colonial Secretary.”

The Budget was introduced into the Legislative Council on 15th October, and I enclose a copy of the proceedings on that occasion. The second and third readings were taken on 4th November and a newspaper report of the proceedings of the Council on that date is enclosed.
